INDUSTRIAL AND COMMERCIAL ENVIRONMENTAL COMPLIANCE

  • Environmental assessment, construction work and compliance work conducted under the scrutiny of local, state and federal programs such as the NYC and NYS Voluntary Cleanup Programs and Brownfield Cleanup Programs, State and Federal Superfund, PBS, RCRA, CERCLA, NYS Navigation Law, Stormwater, Petroleum and Chemical Bulk Storage, NJDEP- and PADEP-regulations.

STORMWATER REGULATIONS

  • Preparation and implementation of Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs), erosion control monitoring and maintenance, bioswale infiltration testing and all related services.
  • Qualified Stormwater Inspector – certified professional in Erosion and Sediment Control.

PBS/CBS REGULATIONS

  • Above Ground & Underground Storage Tank Management, Compliance, Removal, Spill Closure & Documentation at Bus garages, gasoline stations, industrial facilities, etc.
  • Extensive experience with the PBS regulations for gasoline stations, implementation of compliance, tank removal, remediation of soil, groundwater and soil vapor. Installation of monitoring systems, collection and analysis of samples, quarterly compliance monitoring, record keeping, monitoring reports and negotiation with regulatory agencies.
NOISE AND VIBRATION MONITORING  
  • Noise, vibration monitoring and mitigation work plans. Generation of field data.

UNDERGROUND INJECTION CONTROL (UIC) – FEDERAL (USEPA) & MUNICIPAL

  • UIC structure (Cesspools, industrial pools and stormwater drywells) sampling and inspection.
  • Development of UIC remediation work plans.
  • Implementation of UIC cleanups
  • Completion of UIC closures as well as petitions for reuse.

HAZARDOUS MATERIAL HANDLING 

  • Inventory of Asbestos, PCBs, lead, mercury, chromium, survey and mitigation work plans, oversight of remedial abatement contractors and required media or air clearance samples.  Work performed at wastewater treatment plants and other industrial facilities.

NYC MUNICIPAL CONTRACTS

  • Technical and environmental assistance to General Contractors for large scale infrastructure construction projects. Preferred is specifically adept in the integration of environmental requirements into all phases of site construction. Preparation of “implementable” and reasonably and cost effectively-completed environmental submittals (field sampling plans, QAPP, organic vapor monitoring plans, health and safety plans, excavation and waste handling plans, SWPP, CP, Emergency Response Plans, etc.), implementation of in-situ and ex-situ waste and soil characterizations, hazardous material reviews, hazardous materials sampling and characterization, Soil management and handling plans, etc.
  • Hazardous atmosphere air monitoring and confined space monitoring.
  • Combined Certified Safety Personnel (CSP) and Environmental Professional as per NYC contract specifications.
