Preferred staff have completed more than 5,000 environmental assessment and related projects in the last seventeen (17) years. Preferred’s environmental assessments have included delineation of contaminants from numerous sources in all types of media, inclusive of the recently heightened scrutiny of soil vapor intrusion and receptor migration pathways. Environmental assessment and construction work has been successfully conducted under the scrutiny of local, state and federal programs such as the NYC OER and NYS Voluntary Cleanup Programs and Brownfield Cleanup Programs, State and Federal Superfund, PBS, RCRA, CERCLA, NYS Navigation Law, Petroleum and Chemical Bulk Storage, NJDEP- and PADEP-regulations.
